The deadline to enroll in the EVIT Academy of Cosmetic Arts will be here in 10 days – April 15. If you haven’t already enrolled, don’t miss your chance to enroll in the academy’s hugely successful Cosmetology or Aesthetics programs. Both are TUITION-FREE while you are still in high school! If you wait to go to a private beauty school after you graduate from high school, your tuition bill could exceed $25,000.
The EVIT Academy of Cosmetic Arts is offered at the Dr. A. Keith Crandell (Main) Campus, 1601 W. Main St., Mesa, which is on the Metro light rail line, and at the EVIT East Campus, 6625 S. Power Road, Mesa.
Alumni in these programs have gone on to be lawyers, Hollywood makeup artists, salon stylists, skin care experts and business owners – with their EVIT training starting them on their own unique career path. “My future goal after cosmetology school is to go to a university to study business,” said Rachel Van Gorp, 18, a senior in the Cosmetology program. “Having a business degree along with my cosmetology license will give me the opportunity to possibly own my own salon or a freelance makeup company.”
Dolce Salon and Spa and Toni&Guy Hair Salons are among numerous Arizona businesses that have hired EVIT Cosmetology students. EVIT Cosmetology students also have the opportunity to earn 44 college credits toward an associate degree through a new partnership with Eastern Arizona College.
In January, the Main Campus Cosmetology and Aesthetics programs moved into a $6 million newly renovated facility featuring modern studios and state-of-the-art design and equipment in a salon environment where students gain practical experience.
The EVIT Academy of Cosmetic Arts has pass rates of well over 90 percent each year on the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology exams. So if you want to pursue a career in cosmetology or aesthetics there is no better school to get your training. And – it’s TUITION-FREE while you are in high school!
